Comp Calendar is the only site that features both sanctioned and unsanctioned climbing comps happening across America (and globally) on one simple, easy-to-use platform that’s completely free to use! Duties Include:
- Managing comp feature submissions and updating compcalendar.com through our custom backend portal
- Maintaining virtual availability to respond to comp feature submissions within a 48 hour window (the quicker the response the better)
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining good relations with existing users, including communicating with comp organizers to confirm when features go live or gather any missing information.
- Prospecting and conducting outreach to help expand Comp Calendar’s user base
- Developing and maintaining an organized system to track outreach and results
- Collaborating with Comp Calendar’s graphics team to execute on-brand social media
- Assisting Director with the development of key partnerships with outdoor brands and climbing federations for funding, marketing, and growth
Skills & Competencies
- Strong, timely communication skills both on the phone and by email
- Ability to work remotely and show initiative despite geographic distance
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on operations (ie. working smarter not harder)
- Comfort using Google Drive tools, including Google Sheets and Google Forms
- Friendly, customer-oriented attitude, with comfort cold calling
- Creative thinking to help troubleshoot issues or design creative marketing initiatives
- Ability to seek help when needed and maintain open, honest lines of internal communication in a small team environment
- Passion for climbing and knowledge of climbing competitions is a plus
- Experience in social media and branding is a plus but not required
